A little about me. A little room for you.
I’m Emily, the person behind Little Room. I offer online therapy for adults who want to understand themselves better, find their footing, and make room for something different.
Hello, I’m Emily.
You might be the person everyone turns to. The one who keeps things moving, thinks ahead, and usually says, “I’m fine.” Yet underneath it all, you may feel anxious, disconnected, or simply tired of carrying so much.

I created Little Room with those quieter experiences in mind. A place where you can stop holding everything together for a moment and talk honestly about how life feels.

My interest in psychology began with a curiosity about the stories we tell ourselves: who we’re supposed to be, what we should feel, and how much of ourselves we hide to belong. That curiosity led me to study psychology and train in counselling, and it continues to shape the way I work today.

In our sessions, you won’t need to impress me, organise your thoughts perfectly, or arrive with a plan. We can start with what’s here.
Why Little Room?
Because having a little room can change the way we experience things.
Room to finish a thought. To admit that something hurts. To question an expectation you’ve carried for years. To discover what you think before deciding what to do next.
Little Room is a small, independent online practice. You’ll speak directly with me from your first enquiry, and our work will be shaped around your individual experiences and needs.
  • A thoughtful conversation
I listen closely, ask questions, and help you explore connections that may be difficult to see on your own.
  • A human relationship
There’s room for uncertainty, humour, silence, and the things that don’t fit into a neat explanation.
  • A shared process
Your feedback matters. We’ll make time to talk about how sessions feel and whether our work is meeting your needs.
Outside the therapy room
Away from work, I’m usually looking for a good second-hand book, taking a long walk without a particular destination, or making tea I’ll almost certainly forget to drink.
I enjoy ordinary rituals and places that invite you to slow down. The little houses you see throughout this website are a reflection of that: different doors, different stories, and more happening inside than you might first imagine.
You can get to know the space before you step inside.
Read about how I work, explore the practical details, or send me a question. There’s no need to decide everything today.
